It is the oldest working restaurant in Barcelona and second oldest in Spain ( since 1786 ) Decorated with paintings from the beginning of the 20th century, it has different spacious dining rooms and offers a good menu with traditional Catalan dishes. Very traditional but it is worthy!
It's advisable to book in advance during weekends

With a terrace and big windows, it is a spacious restaurant where people don't usually engage in after dinner conversation. Best prices in relation to the quality. They don't book in advance and there's always a long waiting line outside.
I would recommend this restaurant for lunch time (less people and even cheaper). It is definitely worthy to wait even more time and to get a table in the terrace. Great view over Plaza Real. There is a great holiday rental apartment 5 minutes away Bellafila 3A Apartment
